Rainy state of mind
You know it's rained too much in the desert when you pass a man standing in his normal-sized residential front yard, next to two horses grazing on weeds to remove them. I guess it's easier than a weed-whacker.
All joking aside, we have a real weed problem here. It's amazing. Arizonans are not used to weeds. Weeds usually never begin growing, or wilt and happily die in the Arizona sun. Alas, all this rain has actually caused weeds to be growing ON THE TOPS OF BUILDINGS! It's truly crazy.
And I love it.
