Like nails on a chalkboard
Only worse. I fricking HATE HATE HATE the Two Week Wait. Can't I just test at 8 DPO?
I guess I should be glad. As my mother excitedly said (yes, I mean it, she was excited; it was weird), "So, you were right!" And I was. I had an ultrasound on Day 11 that left me quite deflated. The right ovary = Nothing. The left ovary = one little egg, a 12 and not likely to mature much more in the nurse's opinion. I told her I wasn't so sure, that I know I ovulate late and if it grows 1-2 per day, which I know it does, then another 6-8 days and I might have myself a big ol' ready-to-be-fertilized egg. She wasn't convinced. She told me to keep using my Ovulation Predictor Kits for just one more week, then call in a week either way.
I've also been charting and I had a feeling I knew what my body was up to.
Six days later, I got a positive OPK. And another one, even stronger the next day. I called her and she wanted me to schedule a blood draw to see if I ovulated. Day 21, I popped in and got a terrible blood draw (I still have a huge bruise!). That was Halloween, and they told me I'd hear by Wednesday. So I called yesterday and they called me back... My results were "consistent with ovulation." I'm to stay on my clomid next month just like this one and come in for another u/s on Day 11.
IF I get my period.
If I don't...

Oh, and here's my chart if you're bored (the pre-O temps are not all entirely accurate, just there for reference - temps CD 17 and later are all accurate, and all data is accurate otherwise). Chart
